Where Did LiftOutdoors Begin

My career has been exciting, to say the least. Throughout my school life, I followed a Computer Science path which equipped me with a firm understanding of web development. While pursuing this career I discovered I had more of a passion for people than programming which led to an executive role in Volkswagen and Skoda car sales.
My enthusiasm and love for customer service became super infectious to my customers and led to me having a meaningful relationship with all of them. In fact, I still message a few of them to this day! Fancy a chat? Reach out to me using my email below! I would love to hear from you…
As you can gather, my career is full of diverse experiences, lovely people, and exciting opportunities. But, the one realm that remains consistent throughout my journey is my fitness.
From a young age, I’ve always loved alternate methods of training – in particular outdoor workouts. Sun, fresh air, and exercise I was in love with it all. The type of activities I participated in during my spare time were vast – varying between super intense hikes, skill-based calisthenics moves, or sports like basketball, football (soccer), and sparring. This passion has only become stronger and stronger to the point in which I am compelled to share and inspire others.
My experience in fitness, qualifications for computer science, and wide experience in customer service were the perfect ingredients to construct an ultimate one-stop outdoor fitness. So, in 2022 we launched LiftOutdoors as a super reliable source for tips and tutorials for beginners taking their first steps towards their own journey.
My Youtube Channel
I take my content seriously. So… I didn’t take the decision lightly to birth my YouTube channel.
I’ve been making short movies ever since I was a kid, which armed me with years worth of experience to fine-tune my video editing skills and repeatedly perfect my video production. This even led me to the opportunity to work with Apple to use their iMovie and Garage Band software to enhance short movie content! It was only a matter of time until I joined the YouTube space.

Every video serves two purposes. Either as an extension for my articles, or an opportunity to get to know me better. With my successful track record for video content, I ensure every video is as high quality and engaging as possible. So, if you want me to make you a video – drop me an email!
My Roots
My journey began young; growing up in a small village, there wasn’t much entertainment apart from a pull-up bar at the local park. While I was only swinging I developed an instant love for calisthenics and outdoor sports early on in my life. The passion developed into a hobby at 13 years old, when I changed schools located next to the same bar. Every school day, my friend and I would use the pull-up bar to practice our basic tricks. These included muscle ups, pull-overs, and pikes.
I frequently visit calisthenics parks across the West Midlands to meet new people and learn new tricks. The constant practice, coupled with my high strength-to-weight ratio, has led me to become a skillful calisthenics athlete who appreciates all elements of the activity. I am eager to share my knowledge and expertise with a wider audience and am proud to be a part of the LiftOutdoors team.
Nowadays, I apply a hybrid model to my training. In other words, I incorporate a lot more strength and resistance training into my workout as well as calisthenics and sports. It’s optimal for me to do this, and I strongly recommend all other athletes to do the same.
The LiftOutdoors Kitchen:
One quote that’s stuck with me throughout my years is “You are what you eat.” It’s super true. My body is my templates so I ensure to eat the most nutritional food I can get my hands on. My diet is very protein-biased, for example, I eat chicken and rice every day for lunch. My dinner consists of a balance between carbohydrates, proteins, and either veg or fruit.

Here’s A Little Bit More About Me
At 14 years old, I was an academy-level football player with hopes of playing professionally with the likes of my role model: Cristiano Ronaldo. However, by 16, my plans were diverted due to an injury that required an immediate operation that took me out of the game for life.I stopped athletic sports and began lifting weights to stay healthy – being the only replacement exercise I enjoyed.
I quickly developed a passion for lifting weights as it grew to become more than a substitute for football; instead, a safe place to record self-improvement and to push the human body to its limits.
I’m currently studying a MSc in Finance and Investment at Loughborough University, where I have access to the most elite gyms- where Olympic powerlifters are no stranger! Seeing these types of people motivates me to maintain a high fitness level so I don’t fall behind!
Oh, and I also do boxing!
